How to download/install the software:

> Check to make sure that you have Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 or above and Java SE Runtime Environment 6.0 for Microsoft OS and 5.0 for MAC Version or above installed on your computer,

Once the above two software are installed/available; you can unzip the EIDA Preregistration file and click on the software file to install.

After installation, you shall see an icon on your desktop with EIDA LOGO, click on it and enjoy after selecting your preferred language setting.

The application can be used for individuals as well as family members.

Please make sure you fill the maximum fields you can (even optional fields when possible), once you reach the last step, a PDF file shall be generated and opened for you to either print on LAZER PRINTER (it’s the Barcode technology requirements for quality) or save in order to print it at another location.

Barcode numbers various based on information entered, so it could be 4, 5, and/or 6.

Once printed and prior to closing the application, you will be able to modify your entries by clicking on back button, if application is closed you will have to retype the information again.

At this stage, make sure to approach any registration center in the UAE regardless of your location or residency permit issuing Emirate; no appointment is required to come and register. (Make sure you have your 2D barcode application, original valid passport with valid residency permit for residents and original Family book along with valid passport for UAE Nationals.
